Ramco Systems signs IT deal with Tradeline Group in Gulf

Ramco Systems, a leading IT product company in the country, has signed a deal with Dubai-based trading and manufacturing group, Tradeline LLC, to offer IT solutions and payroll management.

Under the deal, Ramco HCM and Payroll solutions will integrate the processes of the different business units within the Tradeline Group, by providing centralised payroll processing capabilities to the group companies, which will help streamline the HR process across all the business units of Tradeline.

Tradeline Group will use Ramco's solutions for their trading, shipping and iron and steel manufacturing business units, which comprise around 450 employees. When implemented centrally at its head office in Dubai, the solution will enable different business units, located across the UAE, to access the system and to operate independently.

Ramco's solutions for Tradeline Group will comprise a package of different functions such as employee data management, leave management, time management, payroll, recruitment, appraisal, training, employee and manager self service, and others.

Commenting on the deal, R Shankar, vice president, Middle East operations, Ramco Systems, said, "This is a very prestigious order for Ramco Systems which marks an international recognition of Indian IT products. The uniqueness of this package will benefit Tradeline in multiple ways. Though implemented centrally, it will be accessible to multiple business units located in different parts of the Emirates. Besides, it will also automate the end-to-end activities of the HR department, which are currently being handled manually. The HR system will be enabled to interface automatically with different software systems and Ramco financial management system, which is currently running at the Al Ghurair Iron and Steel Company. This package is believed to empower the employees by providing self service access."
