Reliance MediaWorks, In-Three partner for world's largest 2D-to-3D conversion facility

Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group firm Reliance MediaWorks Limited, formerly Adlab Films Ltd, today announced the setting up of a partnership with In-Three for the world's largest 2D-TO-3D facility. 

Reliance Media Works Ltd, the country's fastest growing film and entertainment services company said the joint venture will be the world's largest facility dedicated to the conversion of 2D films and videos into 3D and will be based in India.

In-Three has already lined up pioneering production conversions of first-run feature films such as Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer's 3D blockbuster `G-Force', which has already grossed over $200 million in boxoffice receipts worldwide, Reliace MediaWorks said in a website release.

In-Three is currently completing works on its next Hollywood studio title and has an impressive list of clients.

The partnership will address the growing demand by Hollywood studios and other global content creators for converting both new films shot in 2D and older legacy titles for release in cinemas and homes in  steroscopic 3D, the company release said.

The joint venture combines In-three's reputation and advanced software tools with Reliance MediaWorks' expertise and infrastructure.
