New Delhi: Global project consulting firm Royal Haskoning has signed a multi-year IT infrastructure support deal with Tata Consultancy Services for its global expansion.

The multi-million IT infrastructure deal will form the base for Royal Haskoning's future operating model, the companies said in a statement.

For TCS, the deal consolidates its position as technology partner for firms expanding in emerging markets

The scope of the project covers end to end IT infrastructure services, which will be provided from TCS' global delivery centers in the Netherlands, Hungary and India. The services include a multi-lingual service desk, data centre hosting and management, end user computing services, application support services and transformation solutions. The services will be delivered using TCS' proprietary ''White Box'' engagement model – the industry's most transparent framework to design, build and run IT infrastructures.

This engagement will help Royal Haskoning optimise its existing assets and allow it to focus on business performance and international growth plans in Europe and the emerging markets.

This deal has further strengtheed TCS' position as a full services provider in the Dutch market, where it operates a global delivery centre in Eindhoven and has over 1,000 professionals catering to leading  Dutch companies such as KLM Airlways, ABN AMRO Bank, Rabobank and the ING Group.
