Sampre launches branded confectionery

Hyderabad: Sampre Nutritions, a Hyderabad-based confectionery manufacturer, has launched its own brand products and announced an aggressive marketing plan. Sampre’s own products will be launched in four southern states immediately and its presence will be expanded at the national level before May.
"Our group is producing nearly 10 per cent of India’s confectionery volumes of the organised sector from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. We hope to secure a 10-per cent market share for our own brand within four years," says Sampre managing director B K Gurbani.
The company, a part of the Gurbani group, has been manufacturing a wide range of confectioneries for several leading companie+s in India for over 20 years. The group’s clientele includes Procter & Gamble, Warner Lambert, Ranbaxy, Cadbury, Dabure, Parry’s, Himalaya, Nestle, Lotus, Cipla and Aurobindo Pharma.
