Samsung launches dual-SIM Galaxy E7, Galaxy E5 in India

Samsung India Electronics has launched two new mid-segment smartphones – Galaxy E7 and Galaxy E5 in India, making India the first country to get these phones.

The company also launched Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3, its slimmest smartphones to date in India.

''Both Galaxy A and Galaxy E smart phones have been designed to empower young minded consumer and provide accessibility to iconic design and flagship GALAXY features. These smart phones come in a variety of screen sizes, assorted colors and features which appeal to a wider audience,'' said Asim Warsi, vice president, marketing, mobile and IT at Samsung India.

The E7 and E5 are equipped with high definition super AMOLED screen for better and adaptive display, 5 MP front camera and ultra power saving mode.

The E5 will be available in white, black and brown colours, while E7 will be available in white, black and blue colours.

As part of its introductory offer, Vodafone India will provide upto 2GB of 3G data per month for 2 months on its network.

The Galaxy E7 and E5 are priced at Rs23,000 and Rs19,300 respectively.

Priced at the mid-segment of the market, A5 and A3 come with a full metal unibody and slim design of 6.7 mm and 6.9 mm, respectively. Both devices are being shipped in a variety of colours including pearl white, midnight black and champagne gold.

The A5 and A3 sport an 5MP front-facing camera and comes with features such as wide selfie, palm selfie and animated GIF among others. The Galaxy A5 is priced at Rs 25,500, while A3 is available at Rs20,500.

As part of the introductory offer Bharti Airtel will provide special double data plans on Samsung A5 and A3 for up to six months on their networks.
