Servo launched in Oman

Servo, one of Asia's largest lubricant brands, was formally launched in Oman. Anil Wadhwa, Indian Ambassador to Oman, handed over the first package to Servo customer Al Omania Automobile Marketing LLC at a function held in Muscat recently, in the presence of Indian Oil chairman Sarthak Behuria.

"The launch of Servo products in Oman marks a new milestone in the global growth path of the brand,'' Behuria said, adding, ''Emerging as a truly international brand with presence in Africa, Southeast Asia and West Asia, Servo today enjoys the approval of several global automobile manufacturers and OEMs. Our range of lubricants meets global specifications like API, JASO and the stringent US Military Specifications."

Indian Oil Middle East, a fully owned subsidiary of Indian Oil, is spearheading the company's initiatives in West Asia and has appointed Auto Parts Centre LLC (APC) as its authorised distributor for Oman. Deepak Punshi, DGM, APC, speaking on the occasion reiterated the unique proposition of the Servo brand. "With a formidable combination of cutting edge technology and breakthrough research and development, the Servo range of world-class lubricants has over 500 different grades and 1,200 varied formulations that are tailor-made for use in the automotive, industrial and marine sectors in Oman" he said.
 
Backed by blending arrangements in Dubai, Servo has footprints in several West Asian Markets, including the UAE, Yemen, Qatar, Bahrain, etc.
