Sony launches new all-in-one PC Sony Vaio J

10 Jun 2010

Sony released its new all-in-one PC Sony Vaio J in the same week that Apple released its new iPhone 4 with analysts questioning the timing of the release saying, though a PC has little to do with an iPhone, the hype and hoopla associated with an Apple product launch can at times overshadow a any new tech product launch including that of PCs.

Product analysts say the Sony Vaio J is a better product than the previous versions on many counts. They say the touchscreen-Sony provides the 21.7'' killer LED powered touch screen, which provides brilliant contrast ratio and resolution making the viewing of images an absolute delight.

The large display packing a 1080p compatible resolution of 1,920x 1,080 pixels is ideal for watching HD video. The muti-touch display actions like drag, rotate and flick of screen items and gives users easy interactivity with the computer.

The screen is the only major component of the machine with the 2.26 Ghz Intel core i3 processor, 4GB RAM, 310 MB Nvidia Graphics card, and 500 GB hard disk cleverly fitted to hide snugly behind the display.

Space has also been provided below the screen to dock the keyboard and mouse when not in use.

There are also in-built applications to enable the sorting of images and videos by person, faces and tags etc.
