Stracon started off as a successful marketer of sports events telecast rights in India. As part of its expansion plans, Stracon entered the IT-enabled services sector with providing call centre services to SPA’s subsidiary, Data Access (I) Ltd, MTNL cellular services and HHS Group, the UK’s largest mail order company.

The domestic call centre services are offered by Stracon across the six largest Indian metros while Tel-Abridge handles the international clients through its contact centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore. All the centres deploy state-of-the-art network infrastructure from technology leaders such as Siemens, Lucent Technologies and Compaq. Stracon has also recently tied-up with Interglobe, which runs the Galileo airline reservation system.

Stracon also has plans to leverage group strength in international connectivity through group company Data Access, India’s second largest international long-distance player, to venture into servicing of international clients in tourism, tele-medicine, mail order and insurance.
