Tata Indicom, the CDMA brand of Tata Teleservices Limited, has launched 'Power of Two' contest wherein winners get a chance to meet Virendar Sehwag and Irfan Pathan or win Rs1 lakh cash.

The contest aimed at cricket-crazy fans across India has been developed to promote the unique offerings of Tata Zone, the value-added entertainment site, where Tata Indicom subscribers can download ringtones, wallpapers, applications and games.

Announcing the offer, S Ramakrishna, regional head, south east, Tata Teleservices Limited, said, ''Cricket is not just a game in India; rather it the bridge that cuts across barriers and unifies people in the one moment of magic. This contest is our way of bringing cricketers and their fans together and adds a new dimension to the already exciting and entertaining sport.''

Indicom users will get points for each download and the highest point accumulators will have to fill the slogan, 'I like Tata Zone because…' on the Indicom website.

The top two entries thereby will get an opportunity to spend some time with Pathan or Sehwag. The next two scorers will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs1 lakh each.

Subscribers can also participate via IVR by dialling the short code 12921 and subscribe to 'Nazara Sehwag Pack' to record the same slogan in their own voice for which they will be charged 60 paise/minute.

''We are sure that our subscribers will have fun downloading and participating in the contest. Moreover meeting Sehwag and Irfan Pathan and winning cash prizes of upto Rs1 lakh adds to the fun and we are confident that this contest will enjoy immense popularity amongst our subscribers,'' Ramakrishna added.

The contest is open for all existing Tata Indicom pre-paid and post-paid subscribers till July 15, 2010.
