TCS centre in Buenos Aires IT district is Argentina's first

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the country's leading IT services, business solutions and outsourcing firm, today announced the opening of a new delivery centre in Buenos Aires, Argentina, saying it is the first company to officially inaugurate its facilities in the new Technology District set up in Buenos Aires city.

The new centre, the 8th TCS delivery location in Latin America will expand the company's growing presence in Latin America, the company said in a release.

The opening of the new centre also is a recognition of TCS' a benchmark of excellence in software development globally, the release said.

The 10,000  plus square meter centre, located in the Parque de los Patricios neighborhood of Buenos Aires, will initially employ about 250 professionals. The centre will provide consulting, advanced IT solutions, business processes outsourcing services and IT product implementations. In addition, the center will house the company's first regional SAP center of excellence, TCS said.
