TCS selected Europcar's strategic IT partner in France

Tata Consultancy Services  has signed a multi-year, multi-million euro contract with European car rental leader, Europcar.  Europcar Information Services (EIS), the European company's IT subsidiary, has selected TCS to manage strategic IT Services development for its French operations.

The deal is aimed at helping Europcar's continuous improvements in structured and standardised development process across Europcar, particularly to optimise areas like time-to-market and cost control. said Pascal Vallerent, skill center director at Europcar Information Services.

For TCS the partnership with Europcar  is part of the development of a strategic relationship with industry leading companies in France. "It reiterates TCS' strategic commitment to the region and our ability to create operating models specific to the unique needs of our French clients, said Kumar Narayanan, director and country head of TCS France.''

TCS has operated in France since 1992, with offices in Paris - La Défense and in Toulouse.
