Volkswagen launches Crest collection for Ameo, Polo and Vento

Volkswagen has officially launched the Crest collection, which forms part of the first special edition for the Volkswagen Ameo, Polo and Vento. The Crest collection is aimed at customers who crave more features, the Crest collection and offers the best of German engineering technology. Additionally, it offers radical design modifications to the traditional Volkswagen cars.

The Crest Collection is available for all models of the VW Ameo including the Highline and Comfortline variants of the Vento Highline and VW Polo. Customers would be able to experience an intuitive and smooth style after integrating the collection into the Ameo, Polo, and Vento.

The special edition Crest collection comes in a pristine white colour on the body alongside a matte black roofline. There is a stylish Volkswagen side foil in addition to detachable sunroof blinds. In addition to updating the exterior, Volkswagen has also updated the interior on the Crest collection. The car ships with seat upholstery in beige leather colour coupled with diamond stitching.

Commenting on the launch, Michael Mayer, director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India disclosed that the company had designed the collection, keeping the requirements of customers in mind. According to Mayer, the Crest Collection would sync with the added style incorporated into the cars.

Meanwhile, the German car manufacturer, yesterday revealed its monthly sales figures for November 2016. The company successfully sold 4,014 units of its cars in the Indian market and registered a month on month sales growth of 107 per cent as against the same period last year. In the same period in November last year, the company  could sell only 1,942 units of its cars in the Indian car market.

Volkswagen also updated the base variants of the Polo and Vento, introducing dual airbags and ABS as standard across variants. Speaking about its success said, ''We have witnessed an encouraging growth with our November sales welcoming new members to the Volkswagen family. Earlier this year, we launched the Ameo and were positive that the vehicle would succeed in drawing car buyers' attention and it has lived up to our expectations.''
