Western Digital and Tech Pacific tie up for distribution

Mumbai: Western Digital Corp (NYSE: WDC), one of the world''s leading hard drive manufacturers, today announced it has entered into a distribution agreement with Tech Pacific (India) Ltd, India''s largest technology products distribution company. Under the agreement, Tech Pacific will be an authorised distributor in India for the entire range of Western Digital''s award-winning storage products. These include the WD RaptorO, WD CaviarÒ SE, WD Caviar and WD ProtégéÒ.

With this tie-up, Western Digital is further expanding its sales and service presence in the country. Leveraging Tech Pacific''s presence in 35 locations across the nation, Western Digital will enhance its geographic penetration across market segments. Western Digital will also extend its service infrastructure in India through Tech Pacific''s 14 service and support centres and 30 warehouses.
