Whirlpool launches the 'Whirlpool Ace’ washstation

Whirlpool of India, Indian subsidiary of global home appliances manufacturer and marketer Whirlpool Corporation, today launched a range of new semi- automatic washers, the 'Whirlpool ACE Washstation'.

Whirlpool Ace comes with smooth edges and a curved body, a unique top surface on the machine that enables consumer to sort, stack and carry dry clothes, handle and big wheels to ensure a smooth portability of the machine.

Equipped with the unique and patented technology, 'Agitator', Whirlpool Ace replicates the way clothes are scrubbed with hands along with an additional roll-over movement that gives a thorough yet gentle wash, the company said in a statement.

The semi-automatic comes in three variants and two capacity points, 7.5 kg and 8 kg with prices ranging from Rs9,200 to Rs10,200.

''Whirlpool Ace Washstation is yet another innovative product offering from the brand, combining - for the first time in India - a workstation with a washing machine that will remove the drudgery associated with the wash routine,'' said Shantanu Dasgupta,vice president, corporate affairs and strategy.

The newly launched range will be supported by a multi-media campaign including above the line advertising and a host of below-the-line activities, marketing tie-ups, in-shop displays, promotions and product demonstrations.
