Wunderman takes on global Microsoft ad work

13 Jul 2009

Microsoft has appointed Wunderman to work on global consumer ad campaigns for search engine Bing and new operating system Windows 7.

Microsoft has gradually moved its ad accounts from McCann Erickson to WPP Group agencies JWT, Wunderman and G2.

The work was shifted to Wunderman after it presented a proposal to Microsoft to consolidate the business.

Wunderman has taken on consumer campaign activity for MSN, Windows 7 and Bing.

Wunderman is currently working on UK marketing activity for Bing, which is in beta testing here. The US launch will be done by JWT in a high profile ad.

Marketing for Bing and Windows 7 is expected to roll out in the UK this autumn.
