Monsanto fined $289 mn for causing cancer by Roundup weed killer

A US jury has ordered chemical giant Monsanto to pay $289 million, including $250 million in punitive damages to a dying groundskeeper, saying the company did not even care to warn the poor man that its weed killer Roundup might cause cancer
