Mumbai: Abhinav, an immigration firm based in India, has announced that it has entered into strategic tie ups with various Canadian universities and colleges for recruiting Indian students bound for Canada. These colleges include Robertson College, St. Mary's University, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Conestoga College, York College of Industry & Technology, Niagara College, University College of Cariboo and Balmoral Hall School.

Abhinav is also preparing a blueprint for establishing study centres and campuses for some of these colleges in India. These centres will offer vocational courses from the Canadian colleges and address the requirements of highly specialised and in-demand occupations both in Canada and India.

According to Ajay Sharma, chairman and managing director, Abhinav, "The perception towards education abroad among Indian students has undergone a sea change. Vocational courses are becoming popular as they equip one to pursue lucrative career options both in India and abroad. Students opting for vocational courses being offered by some of the associated colleges will find immense opportunities available to them in finding work and settling down in Canada."
