Mid Day wins bronze at IFRA Asia Awards

Mid Day has won a bronze award at the prestigious IFRA Asia Awards held at Chennai.

The top-selling afternoon paper bagged the prestigious award for its Visa + Pizza Hut Impact and activation in the cross media advertising category. 

There were 472 entries at this year's IFRA Asia Awards 2009, which has now bwwn in existence for 8 years.

This win at IFRA Asia Awards follows the Global INMA Awards held at Miami in May 2009 and the Asia Multimedia Awards at Manila for its excellence in marketing efforts. 

Mid Day was also the only Indian publication to be awarded Gold at IFRA Cross Media Marketing Awards 2008 held at Amsterdam.  

VISA had come up with an offer for users to get a 40-per cent discount from fast food retailer Pizza Hut if they paid through their VISA card and anted this communicated "creatively, impactfully and engagingly".
