OK! magazine launches newly designed website

09 Jul 2009

OK! Magazine, one of America's top 10 newsstand sellers, has announced the unveiling of its newly designed Website OKMagazine.com.

First launched in 2005, OKMagazine.com, has become one of the premier online destinations for the inside scoop on celebrity news.

The website was designed, built and is being re-launched by Buzz Media, a leading social media company, as part of a joint venture between the two companies. The new site's custom design will increase engagement for both users and marketing partners. With a heavy concentration on improving the site's usability and implementing a superior publishing system, the new platforms allows OKMagazine.com editors to post at greater speed as well as more prominently merchandise the big exclusives that OK! is well known for.

Additional enhancements on OKMagazine.com include new photo gallery features showing off OK!'s popular Style and Beauty sections, easier navigation, a more engaging display of content, a modern and sleek design, and new promotional areas and advertising placements designed to integrate high impact campaigns. Since announcing their joint venture earlier this year, Buzz Media and OK! have seen growing demand on OKMagazine.com for the highly programmed advertising campaigns that Buzz Media is known for and which the OK! platform now supports.

"The new OKMagazine.com is a more robust, exciting and visual experience for everyone who loves celebrity news, and it also expands our offering with advertisers substantially," said Lori Burgess, publisher, OK! Magazine.

"It provides an enhanced platform for more compelling print and digital packages and really allows our teams to create tremendous engagement for marketers. The collaborative process with Buzz Media has been great, and there's certainly more on the horizon."

Tyler Goldman, CEO of Buzz Media said, "This is a unique alliance for us. We're thrilled to have OK! as a business partner and to supplement our leading family of owned and operated entertainment properties with the OK! brand, one of the most well-known brands in celebrity news."

In the coming months OKMagazine.com will continue to work with Buzz Media to add new features to the site, including more user participation capabilities, custom channels, and an enhanced video experience to name a few.
