A P Parigi resigns as MD of ENIL

AP Parigi, managing director, Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), has resigned. Entertainment Network India Limited is a subsidiary of The Times Group.

He will continue as managing director at ENIL till September 30. After that he will continue to be with the organisation as a non-executive director.

Parigi has been with the Times of India group since 2001, when he joined Times Infotainment Media as director. He was in charge of radio, OOH media and event management segments. Amongst Parigi's achievements is the acquisition of the UK radio business franchise of the SMG group - the first overseas acquisition by any Indian media group.

Parigi has more than 35 years of experience spanning across several sectors, including telecommunications and media and entertainment. He has held a number of key positions, including that of chief executive officer, BPL Mobile Communications (a joint venture with France Telecom). Currently, he is also the chairperson of the FICCI Radio Forum.

Parigi will continue to be a member of the board of directors of Bennett Coleman & Company Limited, publishers of The Times of India and The Economic Times.
