AMO Communications promotes Bob D'silva as NCD

Bob D'Silva has been promoted as the national creative director of AMO Communications. He was a creative director for five years with AMO earlier. AMO Communications, the joint venture between Percept and Hakuhodo.

For the last five years, he has been a creative director with the agency. Prior to AMO, he was associated with Speer, Motivation and MAA Bozell. Known for his out-of-the-box thinking, Bob, after spending over a decade in the hotel industry as a chef, decided to stop whipping up pate de foie gras and start writing ads.

During his stint as the creative director of AMO Communications, D'Silva successfully handled brands like Indian Oil Corporation, Department of Tourism - Goa, Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board, Next Retail, Asia Motorworks, Wella, Jumbo Electronics etc.

Under his creative direction, AMO won many national and international awards- International Creative Shakes, Future TV-Gone in 30 seconds, Brand Reporter – The Mug Shot contest, Dainik Bhaskar Think Positive contest, UNFPA Laadli National Creative Excellence Award and Brand Equity creative contest to name a few.

Said Elvis Dias, managing director, AMO Communications, ''With Delhi and Ahmedabad operations well under way with a host of big wins, it has become necessary for Bob to take over the mantle of overseeing the creative across the country. We will be shortly setting up operations in Bangalore as well to actively pursue the IT businesses based there, and Bob and his team have already delivered some path breaking creative in this category.''
