Beaumont, Wright, Vu, Shah and Zhang Join Bank of America Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific commodities team

Mumbai: Bank of America Merrill Lynch today announced five senior appointments to its Asia Pacific Commodities team as part of the company's growth plans across key sectors in the region.

Peter Beaumont joins the company as managing director and head of Metals and Mining Sales and Origination for the Asia Pacific region (APR). Based in Sydney, Beaumont will report locally to Diego Parrilla, head of commodities Asia Pacific, and to Amrik Sandhu, global head of metals in London.

Paul Wright joins as director and head of commodities oil and gas origination, APR. Wright will be based in Singapore and report locally to Parrilla and to Brad Blesie, head of EMEA origination and structuring and Mitch Rubinstein, head of global crude and refined products in London.

John Bao Vu joins as director and head of complex options trading, APR. Vu will be based in Hong Kong and will report locally to Parrilla and to Ken Merideth, co-head of global commodity index and products in Houston.

Prakash Shah joins the company as director and head of India commodity solutions. Based in Mumbai, Shah will report to Parrilla.

Celina Zhang joins as director, Commodity Solutions Greater China. Zhang will be based in Singapore and will also report to Parrilla.

Beaumont and Wright will join the company in September. Shah and Zhang recently started in their new roles. Vu's starting date will be announced shortly.
