Bhaskar Group appoints Alok Purohit

Leading media house Bhaskar Group has appointed Alok Purohit as COO for MPCG (Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh).

Purohit was with Radio Mirchi as executive VP - corporate. He will report to Sudhir Agarwal, MD, Bhaskar Group. Purohit joins as the fourth COO of the Group, the others being Manoj Aggarwal for Rajasthan, Ashu Parkhe for Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana, and Jagdish Sharma for Gujarat.

At Radio Mirchi, Purohit was responsible for enabling revenues, business metrics and profitability for 22 new markets through functional and operational expertise.

Purohit has 19 years experience, having worked with  companies like Goodlass Nerolac Paints, Amtrex Appliances, and later ENIL.
