Chetan Ahuja joins TME as general manager, Mumbai

TME has brought on board Chetan Ahuja as general manager for its Mumbai operations. Ahuja joins from Media Direction, where he was the media director.

D Rajappa, president, Rediffusion Y&R, said in a statement, ''Ahuja brings with him a sound and robust understanding of media and strategic planning, born out of a rich experience spanning more than 13 years in the industry.''

Ahuja started his career with M: Ideas as a media planner, and has worked with agencies like JWT's Mediavision, Triton Communications, Interface Communications, India Today and the Bhaskar Group.

He has worked on brands like LIC Nomura, Rasna, Siemens, Bajaj Auto, DSP Merrill Lynch, Parle, Pidilite and Mahindra Tractors, among others.
