Euro RSCG appoints Ravikumar C, Manoj Jacob as creative directors

Euro RSCG Delhi has roped in Ravikumar C and Manoj Jacob as creative directors. Both Ravi and Jacob come in from Ogilvy Bengaluru, where they have worked for two years.The duo bagged a bronze Lion at Cannes.

At Ogilvy Bengaluru, both were associate creative directors. While Ravi is from the art department, Jacob is from copywriting. They were looking after accounts such as Foster's, Haywards 5000, Haywards Black and Fortune cooking oil.
 
Ravi was with Guide (Kochi) as a visualiser. At Guide, he worked on accounts such as Supplyco and Cochin International Airport Authority.

After spending about a year and a half there, he moved to iB&W Communications at its Kochi and Bengaluru office and was with the agency for two years as senior visualiser. He moved on to Disha Communications, Bengaluru as art director for a stint of about a year.

Subsequently, he joined JWT Bengaluru and continued there for two years; he stepped out as senior art director to join McCann Erickson, Bengaluru. He was at McCann for eight months as creative team leader (group head). Later, he moved to Ogilvy.

Jacob was in marketing, working for various companies such as India Today (selling space for its C&I directory and TAG), Sonok Telecom (marketing mobile phones, pagers and fax machines) and Paramount Power (marketing diesel generator sets) before he joined advertising.

He joined Graphic Arts Industry in Bengaluru as a copywriter; he was there for a year. He moved to Disha Communications as creative supervisor and was there for three years. Later, he joined Contract Advertising (Bengaluru) as creative consultant and spent about three years there.

Jacob has worked on businesses such as Knock Out, Tiffany's, Nilgiris Supermarket, Himalaya, AMD, Shell and Kerala Ayurveda Pharmacy. They have worked together on Coffee Day Express, Le Meridien and Caterpillar at Disha.
