Genesis Burson-Marsteller strengthens team

Mumbai-headquartered public relations and public affairs consulting firm Genesis Burson-Marsteller recently announced key organisational developments to align itself with the domain-led structure of Burson-Marsteller globally.

It announced the appointment of Rahul Sharma as president of its public affairs business.

Sharma was the editor, Khaleej Times, Dubai prior to joining Genesis Burson-Marsteller. He was the former editor at Hindustan Times, Delhi and held several key positions with Reuters across India, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Singapore.
He will also head the resource centre at Genesis Burson-Marsteller.

The firm also announced the appointment of four India practice chairs including Sheena Sharma for technology, Vandana Sandhir - corporate, Papri Dev Sharma - marketing and Poonam Madan - corporate responsibility.
