Hemant Jain joins Leo Burnett as ECD

Hemant Jain has joined Leo Burnett Mumbai as executive creative director.

He moves from Wieden+Kennedy, London and prior to London he was with the W+K Amsterdam office. A writer-cum-art director-cum illustrator, Jain's distinct style has won countless number of international awards and recognition - from Cannes Gold and Clio to One Show, D&AD, Abby and AAAI, apart from doing stand-out advertising for clients such as Nokia India.

His earlier stints in India included O&M, Leo Burnett and Rediffussion Y&R.

While bringing international talent to strengthen its reputation as the creative power house, Leo Burnett has also promoted several young talent to take up new challenges and grow within the system.

As national creative director K V Sridhar said, ''The creative business requires both youth and experience. We see to that we always have both in abundance within the Leo Burnett system.''

On Jain's appointment, Sridhar said, ''Hemant comes in at the right moment. His global perspective on creative output will strengthen and add visibility to the strategic initiatives we have chalked out for our clients, for the coming year.''
