Jonathan Arnold appoined MD, global markets at Deutsche Bank Securities

Deutsche Bank Securities has appointed Jonathan Arnold as MD and senior equity research analyst in company research within the global markets division. Arnold will be based in New York. He will report to Steve Pollard, MD and Americas head of research.

Arnold was earlier with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a MD covering electric utilities in equity research. He has spent the past fourteen years as an equity research analyst covering utility stocks.

Before joining Merrill Lynch in 1999, Arnold was senior vice president and co-head of Latin America equity research at Santander Investment Securities. Prior to that he was a VP in equity research at JP Morgan Securities. Arnold holds a BA from Cambridge University.
