Mahindra Satyam appoints Vijayanand Vadrevu as chief strategy officer

Hyderabad: Mahindra Satyam, the brand identity of Satyam Computer Services Ltd, today  saisd it had appointed Vijayanand Vadrevu as the senior vice president,  strategic initiatives  and assis the CEO, in providing leadership on strategic initiatives and in scripting the growth plans of the organisation.

Vadrevu spent over 17.5 years with Wipro Technologies, with the last three as vice president and head for the IT major's life sciences vertical solutions, responsible for strategy, sales and delivery and was instrumental in shaping it as one of the fastest growing verticals.

Vadrevu , who holds a masters degree in computer engineering from IIT Kharagpur, has spent more than six  years in the US in a number of client facing and practice building roles.
