Motilal Oswal Asset Management appoints Aashish P Somaiyaa as CEO

Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company, a fund house, has appointed Aashish P Somaiyaa as its chief executive officer.

Somaiyaa has more than 13 years in sales and distribution, channel management, product development and institutional sales from ICICI Prudential AMC and a brief stint at project management with Bharti AXA Investment Managers.

His last assignment was with ICICI Prudential AMC, as senior vice president and head of its retail business, where he was responsible for sales, distribution and product development of mutual fund, portfolio management services and real estate offerings through retail distribution, banking and private wealth management channels across India and the UAE.
