Nissan Motors announces new management appointments

Mumbai: Nissan Motor India has appointed  Kiminobu Tokuyama as managing director and COO.  Tokuyama is curently chief operating officer (COO) Nissan Motor in Japan.

Shohei Kimura MD, Nissan Motor India, has been elevated to CEO and supervise the total Indian business including the Renault Nissan  India project.

Tsukasa Daigoku, current Nissan Prince Tokyo corporate vice president, has been roped in as Renault Japan COO.

Accoding to Colin Dodge  Nissan's senior vice president and chairman, ''India is one of the most important markets for Nissan and I believe we have set a solid organisation to accelerate our Indian projects. Having Tokuyama, who has deep knowledge and experience on global business, joining the team in India, he will be a great asset to our project. I am confident that both Kimura and Tokuyama will provide the strong leadership needed for our business success."
