Pradeep Guha is new president of Association of Indian Magazines

Media marketing professional Pradeep Guha has added yet another feather to his media career cap.

Guha, who is currently the chairman of Cybermedia Group, has been nominated as the President of Association of Indian Magazines (AIM) at the annual general meeting of the body, which was held on Friday, 6 November.

Guha takes over from Outlook Group's Maheshwer Peri for his two-year term as AIM President.

Peri has incidentally served two terms as the AIM President. Past Presidents, Paresh Nath of Delhi Press and Ashish Bagga of India Today Group, have also served two terms each.

Among the other new office bearers of AIM are Tarun Rai, CEO, WWM, who has been made the Vice President and Mitrajit Bhattacharya, President & Publisher, Chitralekha, who is the General Secretary.

The AGM of the Association took place on the sidelines of the annual Indian Magazine Congress, organized in Delhi on 5 November and 6 November 2009.
