SAP appoints Bhuvaneswar Naik as the HR head for India

Bangalore: Enterprises software provider SAP AG today said it had appointed Bhuvaneswar Naik as vice president, human resources for India, with strategic and operational responsibility of the people function to drive higher customer satisfaction through people strategy and process alignment across all SAP entities in India.

Bhuvaneswar Naik Naik was vice president, people processes, India and Asia Pacific, financial services GBU Capgemini.

Naik has worked with SAP in the past as head of HR for SAP Labs India from inception till early 2003 before becoming executive assistant to the extended board at SAP AG from 2003 to 2004 and later became VP global HR shared services in 2005.

Naik has over 17 years of human resources experience of which 15 years have been in leadership roles in global organisations like SAP, Capgemini, Yahoo! and Taj Group of Hotels. Prior Capgemini, he was director of HR at Yahoo! India.

He holds a bachelor degree in electrical engineering from NIT, Calicut and master of arts in personnel management and industrial relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

Naik is a regular speaker on HR topics in business schools and seminars.
