QuEST Global, a leading provider of engineering and manufacturing services, announced today that it has acquired ASE Technologies, a Cincinnati-headquartered services company with engineering offices in Greenville and Phoenix in the US.
QuEST Global came into prominence when it set up India's first aerospace SEZ (special economic zone) at Belgaum in Karnataka. This acquisition will help make it one of the world's top providers of aerodynamic and fluid system (AFS) solutions.
ASE Technologies has considerable expertise in aerodynamic design and heat transfer analysis of advanced turbo-machinery equipment, with a team of over 100 engineers capable of supporting both military (export controlled) and commercial applications.
ASE Technologies focuses on advanced engineering technology, research, product design and process development, with emphasis on aerospace and derivative industries. It serves major aerospace companies such as aircraft engine manufacturers, airframe companies and US government agencies.
Apart from aerospace, QuEST is also involved in power generation, oil and gas, civil structures, industrial products, and transportation verticals. It employs over 1500 people and has delivery centres in the USA, Italy, and Japan, with a footprint in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and China.
