Kingfisher flights disrupted as pilots strike again

Cash-strapped Kingfisher Airlines suffered another hit on Saturday with a section of its unpaid pilots going on a strike- the second time in a month – leading to cancellation of seven of its flights from Mumbai.
The pilots are demanding immediate payment of their March salaries as promised by the management.
"A section of Mumbai-based pilots have gone on strike due to repeated failure to keep up with the promises," airline sources said.
''Seven Kingfisher Airlines flights from Mumbai have been cancelled, a Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL)'' sources said.
Kingfisher is already on a trimmed flight schedule due to problems with staff and the aviation authorities and more cancellations are expected to follow.
The pilots opted to strike work after a meeting with chief executive Sanjay Aggarwal failed to yield any results, the sources said.
