4Ps announces Power 2009 Awards

The Power 2009 Awards, held by 4P's Business, Marketing and Advertising magazine were announced yesterday.
The Power Awards acknowledge corporate leaders who have made a product into a brand. The winners were awarded across 23 categories for their achievements.
The winners announced across the categories included:
- Lowe Lintas-Tata Tea Jaago Re (best public service campaign)
- O&M India (best creative agency of the year)
- Idea Cellular-Lowe Lintas (best electronic ad campaign)
- SBI-Interpub Advertising (best ad campaign in print)
- Fortis Healthcare-Crayons Advertising & Marketing (best outdoor ad campaign)
- Lodestar Universal (best media campaign of the year)
- Mindshare (best media agency of the year)
- Bharti Enterprises (best strategy)
- Tata Sky (most innovative company)
- Kolkata Knight Riders (best marketing strategy)
- Mercedes (most aspirational brand)
- UB Group (god of marketing)
- Reliance Industries (most admired company)
- Colors (best launch)
- Kingfisher (most recalled brand)
- Airtel (best trusted brand and most influential brand)
- IIFA (best event)
- LIC (most valuable consumer company)
- 'Rock On' (best marketer film of the year) and
- Aamir Khan-Tata Sky (best celebrity endorsement)
The nominations for the Power Awards were tracked after an extensive research and analysis of the accomplishments of the corporate and advertising world. The event was organised by Planman Media in association with Zee Business and DNA, supported by LIC and SREI Equipment Finance. Big FM was the radio partner, while Laqshya was the outdoor partner.
