Champagne Indage renamed `Indage Vintners'
07 Jan 2009
Champagne Indage has been renamed `Indage Vintners' with immediate effect. The term 'champagne' has been discontinued, in order to respect IPR rights as part of the company's amalgamation into the global trading community.
Indage Vintners has adopted a new logo, too, to reflect the change which is more glamorous, fashionable and youthful.
The new logo has been designed by an in-house team. Routine communication, such as brochures and pamphlets are done by the in-house design team. Saatchi & Saatchi is the creative consultant for other forms of media such as television and print.
This year, the brand will focus on strategic tie-ups, events and a host of other marketing activities.
Indage Vintners is in talks with some creative agencies to handle its global portfolio. Last year, the company split its wine portfolio into two sections - Chateau Indage and Indage Vineyards.
Indage Vintners was established in 1982 and has a presence in countries such as the UK and Australia. It has a product portfolio of more than 40 brands and claims to command more than 70 per cent of the market in India. Indage Vintners is a part of the Indage Group, which has interests in hotels and restaurants, construction, retail and fashion, along with wine.
