Cochin Advertising Club invites entries for Pepper creatuive 2009 awards

South India-based advertising agencies are being invited to send in their entries for the Cochin Advertising Club's annual creative awards function, Pepper 2009.
The last date for receiving entries for the third edition of Pepper Awards is 15 March.
The awards function will be held at Le Meridien on 3 April.
The panel of judges who will evaluate entries includes Prathap Suthan, national creative director, Cheil Worldwide, South West Asia, Josy Paul, chairman and national creative director, BBDO India, and Sajan Raj Kurup, chairman and chief creative officer, Creativeland Asia.
P K Natesh, chairman, Pepper Award Committee 2009, said that the competition would be open to categories such as 'agency of the year', 'advertiser of the year', 'art director of the year', 'copywriter of the year', 'special jury award', 'campaign of the year', and categories including photography, packaging, logo design, unpublished works, and promos.
The third edition of Pepper 2009 will also have an exclusive section for participants from Kerala, covering jewellery, real estate, textile, hospitality, ayurveda and others. Winners would be presented with gold, silver and bronze awards, and certificates.
Advertising Club of Cochin had formed an 11-member Trust to plan and conduct the Pepper Awards every year to ensure that it will have more thrust and continuity. The Club, which has 560 members, has been organising the creative award function for the past 13 years. Besides the Creative Award Function, the Club regularly organises seminars and workshops to enhance the creative abilities of advertising professionals in Kochi.
