Happy Creative Services sports a big smile with three new wins

Bangalore-based Happy Creative Services has won the creative duties of Papa John's Pizza, Flipkart.com and Myntra.com.
Papa John's, the third largest pizza chain in the world, has roped in the agency to improve its brand awareness in the country.
The pizza chain, which had debuted in India three years back through JIP Fashion and Restaurant Group, is currently looking to expand its network from 25 to 100 over the next few years.
Faisal Jawad, chairman, Jawad Business Group and Om Pizzas & Eats India Pvt Ltd, said that as the Group expands the brands, Papa John's Pizza, Chili's and The Great Kabab Factory, in India they need creative exposures in all our markets.
Flipkart.com account was won following a multi-agency pitch that involved agencies Lowe, JWT among others.
Happy's mandate is to increase awareness about the brand, that started off as a e-commerce portal selling books but has now expanded its services to include music, movies, games and mobile phones.
The agency is looking at a mix of above-the-line advertising consisting primarily of TVC, print, digital and outdoor.
''Flipkart as start-up brand/ service has been built entirely by word-of-mouth,'' explained Sachin Bansal, CEO of Flipkart. ''A move from that 'buzz culture' to a mass media campaign is a big shift for us, and we wanted an agency that understood these nuances.''
Myntra, again an e-commerce portal sells personalised t-shirts, sports jerseys, mugs, bags, drinkware, watches, among others.
"We couldn't have asked for more. 2010 was a year of consolidation for us, winning these 3 accounts over a week definitely set the right tone for 2011 at Happy,'' said Kartik Iyer and Praveen Das, co-founders and directors of Happy, about the wins.
