MPG bags the media duties for Swiss brand Victorinox

Following a multi-agency pitch, MPG has won the media duties for Swiss knife maker Victorinox.
R K Swamy Media was the incumbent agency for the business, which is pegged to be around Rs10 crore.
Anish Goel, managing director, Victorinox India, said, ''MPG's strategic thinking, drive and passion gave us the confidence to believe that this will be a successful partnership.''
The win comes on the back of MPG bagging the global media duties for Fashion group Escada in April. (See: Havas' MPG wins the media duties of Escada)
Over 100 years old, Victorinox is the sole supplier of multi-purpose knives to the Swiss army. The brand's portfolio includes pocket multi-tools, fine cutlery, time pieces and travel gear.
In India, the brand currently has a network of more than 600 retailers.
