Nielsen Company, McKinsey launch NM Incite in India

The Nielsen Company and McKinsey announced the launch of their global joint venture, NM Incite, in India.
The joint venture will provide social media monitoring and advisory services to clients, and help them leverage the growing popularity of the medium.
A study conducted by Nielsen found that about 70 per cent of social networking users access it every day while only two per cent are not on any social networking websites.
"NM Incite will target its services to both advertisers and digital agencies and will use Buzz Metrics, the social media monitoring tool owned by The Nielsen Company, for analysing the social media space," said Karthik Nagarajan, director, online division, The Nielsen Company to afaqs!
NM Incite has operations in 13 global markets including US, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Brazil, Canada, Korea and now India.
