ESPN Star Sports gets exclusive rights for TNA Wrestling across Indian Sub-continent

ESPN-STAR Sports has signed a long-term agreement for the exclusive broadcast rights of TNA Wrestling, for across the Indian Sub-continent. This includes broadcast rights for India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Maldives.
The broadcast will commence from 3 September, with two popular TNA programmes, 'TNA
iMPACT!' and 'TNA Xplosion' every week, and will beam special events each month.
'TNA iMPACT!' is TNA Wrestling's flagship show that will air on STAR Sports on Thursdays at 6 pm. The two-hour show will feature new and exclusive action-packed fights each week, along with a peek behind the scenes.
STAR Sports will air 'TNA Xplosion' on Wednesdays at 6 pm, featuring highlights and exclusive matches between key wrestlers.
ESPN Star Sports is also reported to have plans to bring leading TNA Wrestlers to the Subcontinent for annual promotional tours.
Additionally, wrestling fans will also get a chance to fly to Universal Studios at Orlando, Florida to meet the TNA stars through special consumer contests that will be run by ESPN Star Sports and TNA.
