Adaptec's Raghu Allamsetty elected chairman of AMCHAM

Hyderabad: Raghu Allamsetty, managing director, India operations, Adaptec (India), a provider of IT storage solutions, has been elected unanimously as the chairman of AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce in India), Hyderabad chapter.
Allamsetty will be responsible for overall management of the regional chapter and provide support to the activities of AMCHAM in the region. He has also been entrusted with the role of an ex-officio member of the executive board.
The board has recorded its appreciation of the dynamism, hard work and entrepreneurship which Raghu Allamsetty brought to bear on the operations of Adaptec India. In particular, it appreciated the strong leadership he had provided to the company, proof of which was the phenomenal improvement in the working and profitability of the company.
Allamsetty 's expertise in the information technology industry spans over 13 years across software development, training and business development. He was instrumental in consolidating the position of the companies he had worked in the past and was the key force in driving their core R & D development.
