Audi opens luxury car showroom in Pune

German luxury car maker, Audi, announced the opening of a new exclusive Audi showroom in Pune, on 19 March 2008.
Spread over an area of 6,500 square feet, the Pune showroom is the larhest in India and will showcase the entire Audi model range including Audi A8, Audi Q7, Audi A6, Audi A4 and Audi TT, the sports car.
The showroom has a total capacity of displaying six cars and a state-of-the-art Audi workshop and premium body shop according to the international Audi quality standards.
''With Audi Pune we inaugurate today the largest luxury car showroom in town,'' said Benoit Tiers, managing director, Audi India. ''This second dealership in the state of Maharashtra is for our customers to see and feel the Audi exclusivity, sophistication and progressiveness. Our brand essence ''Vorsprung durch Technik'' is not only valid for our products but also for Audi Service standards and the state-of-the-art exclusive workshop at Audi Pune.''
The Pune showroom is the second Audi showroom in Maharashtra. The German car maker had opened its first dealership in the state in Mumbai in 2005.
The company is more than half way through to reach its target of 10 dealerships of exclusive showrooms in India by the end of this year.
The Audi model range is now available through six exclusive dealerships across India including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Pune.
