The offices will be based in New Delhi and Bangalore, EADS said in a statement.
"Since our first procurement marketing initiatives in India two years ago, the importance of India as a sourcing destination has increased in the field of aerospace and defence," Hans Mundt, chief procurement officer for EADS, said in the statement.
EADS said it is expanding its engineering centre in Bangalore and is planning to have an integrated technology park in the city by 2010.
EADS expects the various projects will generate revenue of $1 billion.
EADS aircraft manufacturer Airbus Industrie, meanwhile, said it was in talks with Air India for the sale of about a dozen superjumbo A-380 planes.
The superjumbo A-380 successfully undertook its maiden commercial flight from Singapore to Sydney last week. After much delay, the first A-380, the world's largest passenger jet, was delivered to Singapore Airlines in mid-October.
Airbus is in talks to sell seven production bases in Europe to concentrate on the business of making planes, chief executive Tom Enders said.
The seven units manufacture 'aerostructures', components and sub-components, Enders told a press conference late Wednesday after opening an engineering centre in Bangalore.
