Fiat launches its next generation Linea T- Jet

Fiat India today launched the next generation Linea T-Jet in the C+ segment, after it was first launched in 2009.
The new Linea, features an turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 114 PS power and a torque of 207 Nm, and is available in eight colours including a new 'sunbeam beige' shade.
It comes with bigger 16-inch alloy wheels with wider 205/55 R16 tyres, longer wheel base of 2603mm and enhanced ground clearance of 170mm; four disc brakes, dual airbags for safety purposes; and leather interiors with a soft-touch dashboard.
The company said that it will initially focus on two of the most important markets, Mumbai / Pune and Delhi / NCR, which constitute 60 per cent sales volume in the C+ segment.
T-Jet is priced at Rs8.55 lakh in Delhi and Rs8.84 lakh in Mumbai while T-Jet Plus is available for Rs8.99 lakh in Delhi and Rs9.29 lakh in Mumbai.
The car will be available at Tata Fiat showrooms in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and NCR before it is launched in a phased wise manner across the country.
Fiat India will launch a new 360-degree campaign and will introduce the car to users in 8 pop-up stores in malls.
Fiat India Automobiles Limited (FIAL) is a 50-50 industrial joint venture between the Fiat Group and Tata Motors, which manufactures the the Palio Stile 1.1, 1.6 models, Linea and the Grande Punto models in its Ranjangaon factory in Pune.
