Fiat, Tata Motors in talks to bring Ferrari, Maserati to India

Shortly after announcing their tie up to market the low-priced passenger car Nano jointly in Latin American markets, Italian auto maker Fiat and India's Tata Motors are in talks for a joint marketing venture to bring Fiat's Ferrari and Maserati brands to India.
Ratan Tata said the two companies were in talks and had various projects that included marketing Ferraris and Maseratis jointly.
Maserati, owned by Fiat, makes racing cars and sports cars, and was established in 1914 in Bologna. Its current headquarters are in Modena, Italy.
In the luxury car segment, Tata Motors owns Jaguar and Land Rover.
Fiat and Tata are also in talks to market Tata Nano in Latin America. (See: Fiat, Tatas to sell Nano jointly in Latin America)
The Nano has been commercially launched and Tata Motors plans to export it to Europe, and South East Asia as well.
