The fire that broke out in the early morning hours on Wednesday was contained after five hours, with the help of fire tenders from Nashik Municipal Corporation and the company's own fire-fighting unit.

''The fire though was contained to within the logistics area of Scorpio unit and within the plant premises. Importantly, there have been no injuries to any company personnel. As a safety measure though, the operations in the plant have been suspended for only the first shift of the day,'' M&M said in a statement.
