Ford India launches the new Fusion Plus

Mumbai: Ford India has launched the Fusion Plus, an exciting new variant to the Ford Fusion range.

The company said the new variant of Fusion will be available in 1.6 litre Duratec petrol and 1.4 litre Duratorq TDCi turbodiesel engine versions, which would be priced at Rs6,16,500 and Rs6,83,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

The new Fusion Plus delivers a superior combination of performance, fuel efficiency, driving dynamics and ride comfort and is enhanced with additional features and distinctive styling, in response to consumer feedback.  The car offers features such as height adjustable driver's seat, power adjustable outside rear view mirrors, all new anti-lock breaking system, 15-inch alloy wheels, body colour bumpers, door handles, side moulding and deck lid.

A Fusion+ badge is the final distinguishing touch to the new top-end variant.
 
The Fusion Plus offers potential consumers excellent value for money. The introductory offer on the Fusion Plus this month includes a MP3 player with 4 speakers.
 
Ford India recently slashed prices of the diesel variant of the Fusion by Rs22,000, passing on the benefit of the reduction in the excise duty on small cars from 16 per cent to 12 per cent in the Union Budget 2008. But we were very careful to retain well known Fusion qualities such as superior performance and driving pleasure,'' Scott McCormack, Ford India's vice president marketing, sales and service, said.

The Fusion Plus is available in wide range of colours including Brush Steel, Mystic Wine, Moon Dust Silver, Panther Black, Diamond White and Paprika Red.
