HCL Frontline launches Toshiba Tablet PC
By Our Convergence Bureau | 06 Dec 2002
The Tablet PC has already won rave reviews from international industry experts. It has received the coveted ZDNet Editor''s Choice Award and the Best of Comdex - PC Category Award.
Weighing 1.85kg with a magnesium alloy case, the design holds like a book, and the robust dual-action swivel hinge guides the transformation from notebook to Tablet PC mode.
The product features a large 12.1" diagonal display for easy viewing. When in Tablet mode, it acts like a regular writing pad. Users write directly on the screen with a digital pen to create drawings, write handwritten notes, annotate documents and send e-mail - all in their own handwriting. Users can then save their handwritten messages as is, or convert them to typed text.
